This well known folk tale of the musicians of Bremen gave Matija Solce, anestablished puppet artist, the foundation for a lively and charming performance,which combines puppets and music. As they do in the fairy-tale, thefour animals make a journey, and they surprise the town folk with their music.The children get to participate in the journey when the puppets walk offthe stage and mingle with the audience, as well as in the concert, when theysing with the puppets. The audience sit
right on the stage, so the childrenhave the opportunity to see the theatre from this, less common, but just asinteresting point of view.
