Metamorphosis is the normal state of things. Metamorphosis is a transformationof one form into another, and yet another. We endeavor to give a definite form to everything, to have everything stable, unchangeable, givenfor ever, because this makes us feel more secure. Marriage, work, success, failure. Just tell me if it is a success or a failure; don’t beat around the bush! But Ovid tells a different story: everything is in metamorphosis. Nothing isgiven for ever. Tomorrow, you may find yourself transformed into a river, anda tree may change into a stone. It is within us. Metamorphosis is our naturalstate, and when we become aware of it, our lives will be much easier. (Aleksander Popovski)
